Our Mission is Autism Financial SupportWhen founder Allison Whitney Schnepper’s niece, Bianca, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, she saw the struggles her family endured to get her the help she needed. Determined to help, a foundation was created in her niece’s name in 2011 called Be Involved. Act Now. Champion Autism. (BIANCA). The non-profit organization was made to administer scholarships for autistic children in the San Diego, CA, area and beyond. Our goal is to be a leading source for autism financial support in the local community.
We want to provide funds for physical, psychological and occupational therapy for autistic children. Studies have shown that early intervention is the key for individuals with autism. Unfortunately, only a few proven treatments are covered by medical insurance. We believe that every family with a child on the spectrum deserves autism support and we strive to provide services that are available to all, despite a family’s financial situation. |
